From California crying over boring "Blue Skies" to painfully tragic unicorns, Natalie Brooke is no stranger to a wink and a nod and not at all afraid to be whimsical. She brings thoughtful writing, soulful singing, and a unique guitar style to every song. While seeking to squeeze every last drop of universal truth out of the human condition, she's always fully prepared to laugh at herself.

Natalie grew up harmonizing in the car on road trips with her musical family, studied music in college, and made the move to Nashville in 2020. The influences of John Prine, Kacey Musgraves and Jewel have landed her somewhere in Americana. 

 

Her newest single "Goodbye, Shallow" was created after she was looked down on, because of where she grew up: San Bernardino, CA. This town doesn't have the best reputation, but she thought it was just fine. This extremely privileged person did not hide the pity they held for her, in coming from such a poor and "unsafe" area. These are the words she wishes she would have said to him in that moment - that "life is what you make, out of the blessings & mistakes. I got my dignity, don't need your pity. Goodbye, Shallow!"
